Jade better be okay because my stress levels are rising And I cannot stop wondering why he doesn’t just sell the emerald ring. That thing has to be worth something, right?? It feels like there’s an obvious solution sitting there and no one is talking about it.

I’m officially at the point where I feel like I’m just… waiting for the ball to drop. Something has to go wrong, right? Everything feels a little too perfect, and it’s making me suspicious

I’m invested in the story and the characters, but the pacing has me on edge. Like… what is really going on? It feels calm before a storm that hasn’t hit

I’ve got some feelings

. I was waiting for a bigger confrontation, more of a fight, or at least more details about what went down. I would’ve loved a full scene of them standing up to Cobra instead of it feeling brushed over.

And don’t even get me started on his parents… I am really hoping Owen finally stands up for himself & tells them exactly where they can shove their opinions.

Cobra is a jerk and I hope Owen beats his butt soon!

I’m 43% into this book and I really love the concept—it pulled me in fast. That said, things between Owen and Jade feel like they’re moving really quickly, which has me a little thrown.

With 57% still to go, I’m honestly confused (but curious) about what more could happen. Will Michael show up? Will Owen go back to Scotland? Marriage… or chaos?

Fast-paced, intriguing, and definitely keeping me reading.
