Ok, where do I begin... This is absolutely brilliant!! From eating people, to a town that never sleeps, you never know what will happen next. This book is so refreshing, I can't really begin to describe it. It's so different from anything else I have read. I absolutely love Sayaka's spin on unusual topics in a way that makes you question normality.

So far I love this!! I read The Convenience Store Woman a little while ago and absolutely loved it, so when I found this I was excited to see what Sayaka Murata would create next. It does not disappoint!
The book is a series of bizarre and wonderful short stories. I honestly don't know how to describe this book, it's so unique but I love it.

After reading the convenience store woman, I couldn't wait to read another of Sayaka's works. I have only just started and already, it doesn't disappoint. The twisted reality already has you questioning everything. It's so bizarre in such a wonderful way.
