the second half was much better, for me personally, than the first.

not great, not terrible, but i am having to push myself some to finish this.

I restarted this from the beginning trying to sort out my feelings of the main character, Hajime. Memory is key in shaping the his identity and his relationships with others. Hajime is haunted by memories of his childhood friend, Shimamoto.
