I've been looking at the cover on Amazon and still can't work out what the rest of the picture is apart from Blair & Brown.

The first four lots of "Customers who bought this also bought" has so many books that friends have mentioned or read or at least want-to-read-ed on here.

But also, you must get this sometimes: books that seem to be based on ideas you've had for quite a few years... but now someone else has gone and written the actual book of it whilst you were doing other [more fragmented] things.

Yep - there were several novels in the early noughties, largely by people called Jeff, which rendered the one half-formed novel idea I had superfluous.
