I need your thoughts

I never would have picked this myself, but I couldn’t put it down! The mystery and relationships were great. I don’t like the rape angle but I see why it was a story line with the ending. I did not expect the person who did it I thought it was someone else from his past. She was kind of annoying sometimes, but I get it with they who sheltered thing it just went back and forth a bit. The part where she stormed out of the club and told him off was a weird power dynamic thing that I don’t think really fit them, but eh gotta flow with it. I want to read book 2 to see if Achilles and Tierney finally get together too. I was kind of rooting for them. The morally grey “beast” turned misunderstood, burn the world down for the woman he loves thing is right up my alley so I was here for it. Eye and all. Who doesn’t love a pirate anyway?
