Oh no! Why didn’t you like it? It’s on my TBR, I have heard good stuff about the series. I have not started them yet.

This is the second series I’ve read from this author and her writing style is just very juvenile. Like, it feels like someone copied and pasted a random fanfiction and got it published. The characters are having the same arguments from the previous book and nothing is truly developing— it’s just kinda getting swept under the rug until the next scene someone tries to bring it up again and it gets ignored. Mas’ writing style isn’t my cup of tea but i hate DNF’ing a book even more so eventually i’ll fight to get through it. As long as you don’t try to take the book series seriously it could be a good easy read!
