Sen is right; I saw online that the unprivating videos problem has something to do with mass censorship. I don't know how valid the source I got it from was, though, so take it with a grain of salt. With the new privacy policy, TikTok is allowed to track your geolocation and store data related to your citizenship status within the US, and including your gender, sexual orientation, and other personal details. TikTok's data collecting is also outside of the app, they'll "use information from inside TikTok to advertise outside of it." So it now goes towards all your activity on the internet and third-party sites and applications. Which doesn't sound sketchy at all I don't think.

@Sen @Miranda well i heard about that, but i didn’t think it would make my searches ominous as hell and such, but ig it kinda makes sense. had me HELLA paranoid last night. i heard you also can’t delete your account anymore unless you’re on airplane mode, so uh thats not creepy at all!
