Would’ve been 4 stars if not for that 80-90% mark where Dakota & Rowan were fucked. Speaking of Dakota I also hated how there was too much of this book focused on her & her story & her love story like what this is Rowan & Bonnie’s book. So 3.5 stars bc I do love the setting bc duh Scotland & I enjoyed a lot of aspects of the book but yeah that 10% really brought it down for me and I found the conflict unnecessary

I was having a good time but the third act breakup just started and is pissing me off. Rowan finds out his dad has terminal cancer and will die so he’s gonna go to London and then he saw Bonnie find out about his pottery so he went crazy on her bc of the dad thing and I guess that ripped him over the edge so yeah. Fucking dumb. Such a lazy cop out. Pissed me off as soon as I saw it coming

I’m actually loving this so much. Genuinely so funny and Rowan is amazing and the vibes are just so there

Almost 4.5 years on the TBR and I’m actually reading it lol. It’s pretty good in the sense that it’s like her other books tbh like they’re all kinda the same copy paste characters in terms of that brash quirky FMC and grumpy MMC and fun side characters. It’s good tho and ofc I just love the setting bc I love Scotland so much
