Really good book, particularly if you have gone on a wilderness canoeing trip in Canada. I did so several years ago with my husband and two friends, traveling a 100 mile loop via solo canoes in Northern Ontario, north of any roads and rail. You can see all of the bad decision-making piling up on them as the narrative proceeds.
