Oh this is so good, I'm still not really sure why they wanted to kill the prince in the first place, not sure if they mentioned it and I missed it or it wasn't mentioned, anyway, if I had to guess I'd guess that Regal made it seem like Shrewd ordered the prince to be killed, so when Fitz kills him he'd say oh he's a traitor and was following Verity's orders, so that Fitz and Verity both die, it makes sense right?

Verity is sick for what he did to Fitz, a 14 year old (didn't assault him don't worry), and what's more sick is that he blamed it on him, "oh, I thought I knew what you were talking about that's what I did it and I won't do it again", I do not trust him, I think he will do it again, Shrewd even told Fitz that he knew what his duties were, wtf is wrong with these people? This is so dark unexpectedly

I really like this, it's very interesting and there's a lot we don't know about, can wait to know more about the fool and how he works, cause for me he is no fool

I highly recommend if you're familiar with epic fantasy, even if you aren't, I think this series is a good start, however you should definitely be in the mood for it, otherwise you'll just dnf, and don't expect this to be a fun little fantasy, it requires a lot of brain power to understand, I'm not trying to scare you but you should definitely have your focus while reading this otherwise you'll miss a lot of things
