this chapter was super light and allowed a bit of humor in the midst of cricket's spiral

i wonder if the book will explore the relationship between cricket and nina. i’m sure on the surface nina holds no resentment for taking on the caretaker role but many nights nina must’ve felt completely alone. i think her mentioning “im ready to be like you” and how she mentions cricket’s life seems really awesome on social media really solidifies that thought too
