Oh boy do I love the Valaquenta

Finally finished what has been labeled as the story of the Silmarillion. Now on to Akallabêth. Picked up at the end, worth getting around too after my two weeks of minimal reading 😅

Finished of Beren and Luthien a dozen pages ago, maybe? It was so short for the length of this book and being told it was one of the focal points of the story. I think that the rest of the book will potentially focus on the forging of the rings, I hope.....
Can't believe I'm on my ninth day reading this that NEVER happens. Hope to finish soon.

Really slow reader recently (which is an infrequent occurrence) but hey I've been watching LotR so still consuming Tolkien content?
Just got to Beren and Luthien. As in the chapter. I haven't met either character yet. This book definitely takes its sweet time.

Definitely have done a lot of reading in the past couple of days because I definitely was not looking at LotR memes

I just got to Chapter 15 and I swear the entirety of Chapter 14 was describing geography I need to go find a good map for this stuff. Pretty decent so far though.
