A Theory of Dreaming made me an instant fan of Ava Reid.
While there were moments of youthful pettiness and small dramas, they ultimately felt true to that stage of life. It reminded me how intense even the simplest worries can feel when you are young, and in that sense, the characters felt real and relatable.
