i never write mid-read reviews but i just found out that the author is the FDA commissioner & has a history of making controversial statements rooted in misinterpretation (i.e., crazy extrapolation that medical errors are the third-leading cause of death in the US). anyone who reads this book - beware of bias & irony! there’s loads of it! writing a book about medical misinformation yet contributing to it is wild.
