I’ve never hated characters more than Christopher and Janie. The kid
is psycho and the husband is infuriating. I’m about 70% through and every time I pick this book up it pisses me off. Not because it’s bad, but everything is stressful. From the gaslighting, manipulation, to the animal cruelty. It’s all too much. It’s reads easy like a Frieda McFadden book though.
