Sometimes reading about loneliness is devastating in a way that makes it hard for you to keep reading. Also, there’s so many white people in this book. I guess I get it because Laing isn’t trying to speak for any person of color.

The thing about this book is it really makes you look at how loneliness or a need not to be has shaped every experience in my life.
