Those diversions were cool, but it’s nice to be back with my buddy, Giovanni Drogo.

Book about how you should quit your job, but you can’t go back to school. Only forward; only forward. You gotta movie your feet. Rust never sleeps, truly. Before you even get a chance to get tired of your everyday, turn the page, do something new. It’s the only way to make sure you don’t wake up one day accidentally further than you meant to be, having not done enough, never doing enough.

Starting to get The Martian Chronicles vibes in the way that each chapter is this individual little mini episode that coheres together to tell a unified mythic tapestrial narrative.

Maybe that’s taking it a little too far idk

You know how in different cultures slash languages there’s different, like, onomatopoeias of how animals sound? Like in American English we say cock-a-doodle-doo for a rooster but in French they say like cookoo-reekoo?

Do they have that for the agreed-upon vector image of a star? Like a star symbol? Does one culture have like, a real weird caricature of a star silhouette that would blow my mind? Maybe. Idk.

“Giovanni Drogo”: top 10 protagonist name of all time. That’s a name that floats into your head during a writing session where you drop everything and decide to concoct an entire story for it, just because it would be too good to go to waste, to lay scrawled on a piece of scratch paper or sequestered to the inglorious destiny of assignment to a quaternary background Whoever.

That’s a main character-ass name.
