My takeaway from that chapter: instead of burning the witch, we should be burning 🔥 the rich 🤑

“But I would say that the withdrawal from the Paris Agreement was (and remains) one of the stupidest things to have happened in American history—and this is a nation that once did an experiment to see if nuking a submarine would damage it.”

I need popcorn for this.

“God save us from the retired engineers, I thought. On my desk were three letters from them, one in Comic Sans, all of them pointing out supposed flaws in the scientific consensus on climate change. I hope these men are being paid by the fossil fuel industry, but I suspect the bleak truth is that they are doing all this work for free, having discovered an exciting new hobby in retirement.”

She’s also using Greek mythology to help explain physics and it’s really entertaining.
