Ooooh I’m curious! Is this for school or for…pleasure? What do you think?

Technically it’s for pleasure haha because it’s not assigned, but it’s to supplement my learning for my Early Modern Christianity class! It’s a slow read but helpful for getting an overview of major Reformers’ theology (and how they differ from each other and from the church’s stance then) on topics like approach to Scripture, work of the Spirit in sacraments, etc. And I like that the author often calls out which of the beliefs have really lived on in Protestant traditions and which have died out. It’s informative though not…riveting :)
