The characters all still feel like people I don’t want to know more about - not a good sign more than 50% into a book. That’s has never happened to me with Rooney before.

I relate to this. I gave this 5 stars apparently but I don’t remember how I justified that bc I identify HARD with all your mid-read reviews lol

I get it though like… it’s also triggering something in me lol. It’s not a bad book per se there are moments of that v human insight that’s all Rooney but then there are Peter’s gross monologues lol. Will have to see when I get to the end!
