I’m about halfway through and I’m honestly not sure if I can bring myself to finish. I don’t see how this is really going to get any better. Much short of saving my life, I think it’s making it actively worse. It’s a bleak and depressing read and today, having not read any of it, I feel significantly lighter.

Struggling to find what people enjoy about this book. So far the characters are flat, the landscape of LA wealth and disconnection is stale, and I’m missing the joke if this is supposed to be humorous.
Sticking it out to see if it turns a corner for me, but far from ‘saving my life’ right now, it seems like it’s wasting it.
