orion saying he would rather die than let rosalind believe he is a traitor that entire scene where he is grasping onto her hand which is aiming a gun at his chest ughhhh so good

bro wtf wdym orion is the chemical killer that makes no sense. unless he’s being brainwashed because he lowkey did clock out of being the killer and realised he was hurting ‘janie’. i hope it’s not an amnesia plot and he remembers he stabbed janie so he knows about her ability to heal all injuries. the happy part of the book is over and it’s a bit sad

it’s not even the end of january yet but i just know ill finish this book before that. i want to read foul lady huntsman after so soon bc its such a good book concept

i know this is a duology because there’s so much that hasn’t been explained yet. like rosalind being outed for her immortality, rosalind and orion’s romance etc. i do like the various relationship dynamics and i plan to get the second book on vinted somehow.

it gives gyeongseong creature vibes but set in shanghai, china but the common villain is japan in both stories. anyways, i don’t know the history during 1930s china so a bit annoying that i have to search up info. also a lot of chinese words aren’t translated which is still frustrating. rosalind’s character is so layered already it’s very interesting
