This book is so powerful to read, to have that experience to feel like you were apart of the divide between East and West Germany, East Germany with more of a struggle than the West due to Russia's forces soon after WWII as Germany struggled post-war, and the narrator's father daughter bond gets me emotional as mine is just as strong with hers, I haven't finished the book yet..., but I highly recommend! 💗
