The first few essays were enough to draw me into the book but now as I'm on the second section and it has changed from cultural criticism that everyone can relate to... to pure literary criticism of books I have yet to read so staying interested during some of those essays is challenging. But overall the book is entertaining and I'll probably finish it but overall more pop culture-y than I anticipated.
