I was recently questioning whether I’d continue listening to audiobooks but this one is just an hour long. It seems kind of treacly in the vein of A BOY, A MOLE, A FOX, AND A HORSE, and the lessons it’s trying to impart are way too simplistic & naive to take seriously. Just forget about your dad shoving you to the ground! Maybe you didn’t understand what *really* happened! 🙄 Oh well, it’s only an hour.

The chapter on death was effective insomuch as it was creepy as hell, but then the conclusion is abrupt and unearned. That's the problem with every chapter. Well, that and the fact that every chapter is a carbon copy of the last, with the exact same words and template, but about different sources of frustration in life. It's so repetitive and the lessons are trite. About 30 minutes left!
