The "Council of Pieces" is a failed peace meeting between park tribes at the "Exclamation Point" aimed at pooling resources. Orchestrated by Sam Garliek, it devolved into a massacre when Brock Hockney (who came alone)triggered a cannon extinguishing remaining idealism and cementing the park's descent into violent tribalism.

Sal Mcvey gives a comedic and zero regrets introspection of the pirates. Further more is painted behind the mysterious Brock H.

“Cristobal, man. We were doing fine until he showed up.”

Tension is high around the park. It’s unsafe to trust those who can be seen as “allies” as Riley leader of the Deadpool’s. Elvis S believes telling his @FantasticFutureW to trust them wouldn’t be smart. The pirates r being built up as brutal, violent often forcing potential new members to brand themselves. As they did poor Adrienne & later Karen

War is waged with the notorious Brock Hockney, as he and his tribe cut the hands off of Tom ” Cutting off his hands is meant to:
• Make an example of him
• Deter others from stealing (as resources
are scarce and belongs to however’s the
strongest
• Enforce obedience through terror

The (powerless) bunker from hell. Here we are further shown just how much upper management of FantasticLand really care. “I feel pretty safe in saying I’m the closest thing you’re going to find to a good guy in this clusterfuck.”

We’re introduced to competing tribes. The out numbered mole men start feeling the need to make a plan against the young adults. They have an advantage.. they know the tunnels.

Operation Rapture: Seal the park and cut off contact. Maintain brand image, Prevent employees from leaving, Treat staff not as people, but as expendable assets.
It accelerates the collapse, traps teens inside the park with no escape, no leadership, and dwindling resources, Operation Rapture becomes the catalyst for the formation of the tribes. Without it, the park might have been evacuated before things spiraled.

I love where things are going. You truly feel an impending sense of doom. Family man Aaron Hoffman gives an excellent outsider perspective of events playing out (which reminds me oddly of the HBO Chernobyl) I love how we get a very human side of the story where the pirate sings to his son who loves pirates and then later everyone on the bus joins in and sings. It shows that we can still come together in hard times
