Just adding this update for a thought I had before falling asleep:
I'm reading a lot of fiction from the Muslim world recently and I was wondering where that interest might now be coming from and I think it's an attempt at balance.
I grew up in a post 9/11 Europe and I'm only now discovering these vibrant cultures and unlearning a lot of the propaganda.
