it’s incredible that ive been reading for a while and it feels like i read a lot and should be much further in but i have even read 100 pages? i think this is the issue with ONLY ‘relatability’ books—relatability can’t sustain my interest for long and it feels a bit like a chore? and i need external plot?

equally maddening and incredible. feels like a textbook which is annoying, but also certain sentences make me go “im in it” and that makes me super excited

ok the prose is… something. i can’t decide if im thinking i should hate it or if im not liking it at all… because i did put the pressure of “she’s very appreciated by the community” and im afraid i might be convincing myself its not bad… but what it’s actually not and i just note “could be better” but its still fine?
