So far its still a slow burn still no clear concise plot point being touched upon the first book mentioned. Still a 5/10 so far alot of dialogue slow paced story still going to class with Sonea and it skips ahead alot in her teaching

So far the second book in the Black Magician Trilogy in my opinion is more of a bridge novel and doesnt really touch upon the main plot point outlined in the first book very slow paced alot of dialogue and honestly Trudi Canavan could of done better solid 5/10 so far
