At first I found it so frustrating like… guy?? Cmon? So much of this could have been prevented by a simple solution. But then I was like OHHHHH that’s the point! He secretly enjoys it! Him and Bruno are initially presented as polar opposites. Guy is his moral foil to the selfish brat Bruno. But as we see guys character unravel a bit more it’s questionable if he’s actually letting these murders take place

Now I’m not trying to be funny guy but this whole mess could’ve been easily sorted in about 12 different opportunities in the book. Now you’re gunna lose your bird. Well bloody done 🙄
