Sometimes books surprise you with a bit of slower growing wonder and appreciation. This has been that for me so far. I have fallen in love with Caddie Forbes and the unlikely characters and find myself wanting more and more! Francine Rivers is amazing at writing a story surrounded with and woven through biblical truth. Life is painful, beautiful and amazing with Jesus. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
