My big pet peeve in books is when characters treat the MC like they're stupid for not knowing their "basic" history and knowledge when they all know she's from another world and there is no way she would ever know this and I get it's to tell us the reader this history but come on. Why show her disdain she is literally from a different world Why would she know this I'm so annoyed
