Submission of wife to her husband is not due to the Fall or a result of sin! This was cool to think about as I read this passage. Submission is God’s initial and divine model for a marriage to best glorify Him by modeling the relationship between Christ and the church. The initial and ultimate goal of marriage is to point us to the Lord daily and glorify Him.
