I stopped listening to the audiobook version of "The Divine Comedy" I had begun because it was difficult to understand; I opted for a different translator (A. Mandelbaum) after comparing and contrasting some of the most popular translations using an AI assistant (very helpful!). The audiobook was a very stiff, rigid, "King James-esque" translation by Catholic scholar C. E. Norton - the only option available on Libby.
