While it has gone into some of the sensationalism of the story (as expected), I've been enjoying some of the cultural and local Chicago history this book has included, as well. It's more than just focused on H. H. Holmes, though it's clearly focused on him and his crimes for the most part. I've read books on Mudgett/Holmes before (& have another after I finish this one), so it's nice to find it interesting still.
