This author has managed to make me wish there were fewer women in his book. The ice monster horror vibes are great. Every scene with a woman… terrible. I would like to recommend that he go read a few books about and by women so as to prepare himself. Then, only when he is ready to not make it uncomfortable for everyone, go meet some real life women. Maybe then, come back to writing.

Really strong atmosphere both with the creepy elements and the arctic expedition. It has the same feel as the real arctic exploration accounts I have read. This is all very pleasing.
One suggestion to the author: Please consider that a more effective way to have a character recognize a woman is by looking at her face, not her breasts and pubic hair. Do better.

I haven't read this specific book, but it sounds like I've read a lot like it. :P

He’s giving me vibes like those dudes on social media who try to give woman advice to dress like they are in the 1940s because it is more attractive and feminine than women showing more skin BUT ALSO thinks women are useless for anything but their bodies.But then the ice scenes are real good.
