I’ve been frustrated at her for 212 pages for writing about nothing. She knows it too; the first line of the book reads “It’s not so easy writing about nothing.” I have still, no less, read impatiently— until now. I’m finally seeing that this story is a both menial and major account of Patti’s life, and I have a newfound urge to read! How beautiful it all is!
