so book one was honestly boring as fuck
rn im more interested in the worldbuilding
what i expect is more of the same shit tbh
too much sex and frolicking around
and not enough plot or development
all i recall of this fmc is she’s the one with the broken wrist
and at least she wasn’t one of the whiny pathetic human women
and the mmc was a former enslaved gladiator legend who escaped

i need to check the publishing dates for this series and the duet
it’s looking less and less like i’ll get a cameo with those characters
so far
i can easily say that none of these mmcs and fmcs are as good as the ones in the duet
by far
i’m still dreading, and more annoyed at the next books in this series

so im wondering now how old he is

apart from the world building and stupid lame ass endings
the characters and background is so lackluster
everything is very surface level
little to no depth
