For a slasher fan of the old school classics, this is a brilliant story!

Jonathan Yanz, Lenora, the sweet little Dik Dik that he names after his grandma. A story of hope when it seemed hopeless. Fantastic descriptions...cats eating the vet alive. Visceral. Vivid. Raw. Beautiful.

In A Pig's Eye, Joe R. Lansdale - enjoyed the writing style. Great story. Sentences that hook! Ricky and his VHS store. The hogs. Great portrayal if survival in the woods.

Room 24! This one really stuck for me. The noir vibe. The dirty bloody undertone. The bleak it won't end well feeling. Strong memorable characters. Great setting.
