I started reading Baldwin after a summer of conversion therapy when I was 14 and I continue to reread him in any moments of great pain. Currently mourning two friends, recovering from a hysterectomy, and filing for bankruptcy, in that order. Baldwin brings clarity to my thoughts whenever life overwhelms me and all I want to do is be hateful.Sorry if tmi but also this is MY booklog and I'm on crazy painkillers, huzzah
