I love the factual information you get in this book. Obviously von Däniken puts his own interpretation to it but you can easily ignore that and read this book as a history book. Do I believe some of his theories? Yes, sure. A lot of the things he mentions are indeed very remarkable and not talked about enough. I believe in ‘aliens’, not as convinced as von Däniken, but I love reading how he sees things.

I am honestly fascinated by this book. Obviously I don’t agree on everything with von Däniken. There is some crazy stuff in this book though; the map of Piri Reis and the huge signs in Pisco, Peru. Especially the map is crazy to me.
