My dumbass did not realise how the footnotes worked on the kindle till now…a hundred pages in…I feel like I gotta restart. The footnotes are so good and add so much!

Reading this while I’m in a foreign country, trying to learn a language and culture so dissimilar to my own, all the while knowing that this place, this country, is technically mine by right of blood if not experience…it just feels like this was good timing
