I have read one or two of his books and found him an interesting writer. I wonder if it’s just a slow start or just one that doesn’t quite click. You always have good judgement so I will probably end up agreeing with you if I read it.

He has lovely writing, but the plotting can be a challenge for me, depending on which series.
