i think i’m going to *soft dnf*. i think books about adolescence are significant, esp when told with an unflinching gaze at the uncomfortability of growing into ur own skin & place. tho all adults have experienced it, i feel that we often forget what it all *felt* like.

that being said- i don’t think i want to spend 650pgs gazing unflinchingly into the lives of these particular teenage boys. so there’s that.
