Listening on audiobook. I remember watching the movie shortly after it came out and am surprised at how similar I’m recalling it to be to the book. Merricat is relatable with her superstitions and desire to be alone and keep things the same. Constance is endearing with her rules for her sister and keeping busy in the garden. We love Uncle Julian, dozing in his chair and pouring over his notes on his family.
