Empire of Storms, wow what a book. At least we have a solid idea about how this may, or is destined to, end. It’s so good how she’s tied up a lot of loose ends that have been floating around, except one- Chaol, which we now get and I’m stressing. Very adorable that Rowan and her are married but not adorable she got captured.

Queen of Shadows finished. This was also a great book! A lot of events happened so quickly, it will take time to process but it’s crazy the king is dead and things are really getting serious. All our besties are in positions of power, and Chaol is paralyzed! Things will really kick off.

Okay so, the king is dead, perrington is a demon king, Aelin and Dorian are extremely powerful when together and now I guess they have to figure out how to go from here. Kinda crazy work? Still processing this shit

Lady of Shadowns (pt 1) is done. A lot was accomplished this part, Rowan coming back and being horny for a 19 year old, the rescue and reuniting of Aedion, the break down with a Chaol and the killing of Arobynn. Things should be either slow or epic this next part.

Heir of Fire complete. I actually loved this addition to the series. I loved the multiple perspectives, including the villain witch who might not be all bad? I loved Celeanas arch but didn’t like how Rowan was at the beginning, it’s nice how he is part of her now. It ended on an epic launching pad so it should be pretty intense going forward!

Finished part 1 of Heir of Fire, Heir of Ash. The name makes sense, as she cannot harness her fire power so its ash. I had a feeling and still do that Rowan will be… sexy time partner? I don’t know. Maas loves super mean men turned babe. Aedion I don’t know. Happy for Dorian in new found love lol

Finished with Crown of Midnight. Loved the ending of this book, and in general I thought the book was good!! I like how Maas is killing off main characters even though it’s extremely sad, and I have enjoyed the torture to finally get to some explanation. I think Celeana (Aelin) has a lot of growing up to do though.

I can’t even begin to process the type of grief loosing my soul sister would cause.

Through part 1 of crown of midnight. Jesus Christ was a terrible way to end!! I have no idea where it will be going from here.

Okay NOW I’ve actually finished Assassins Blade, I accidentally read Throne of Glass first. I liked how this was separated into short stories, and I generally like the themes. Obviously knowing about Sam took the grief away but it was truly haunting. I know some people will return again….
