Maybe it’s because I’ve actually wandered the cobbled streets of Prague myself. Maybe it’s because the audiobook is narrated by one of my all-time favourites. Or maybe it’s just because Melmoth is well written. It takes the old idea of Melmoth the Wanderer and gives it a fresh, modern voice without losing that eerie, unsettling edge.
