- My bestie.
That's her advice to me after complaining that I don't know how to make my website grow w/o creating social accounts to promote reviews (don't want IG, FB's old folks, Tumblr's dead, Twitter's a nightmare, etc.). What say you?

Twitter used to be my favorite. It was so much fun, until it wasn't. Anyway... you have my sword, my bow, and my axe. :)))
Choose the social media platform you most enjoy and have fun! Put having fun first, then whatever else second, or else you'll burn out real fast. I see that a lot on BookTube (book-theme YouTube) because people think you can make bank on there... and you can, but it is also uncommon. So, do it for fun and it'll be a bonus if you gain a big following.

It's also what my bestie told me, how we started with the mother website (Pawn to Player) too. We were just having fun on a forum and it exploded in followers.
I'll focus on content-making for my little project, then! I want to have new stuff at least once weekly, ideally more.

Twitter is still good for drama llamas and drama-watching. 😆 Good for finding a few good enemies, too. 🤣
We used to have a Twitter account for the PtP, but . . . it went south. Same with Tumblr, we no longer have our account there, either.

Just begin. Be consistent. Don't worry too much about growing your audience and just keep having fun. Because that sincerity and the effort you're putting into it is what will make people gravitate towards you.
