I… this… I like a good conflicted man who is flawed and is an active character and has made mistakes, but this… this is too much.

*sighs* Somehow, I seem to keep stumbling upon six-seven references. No matter what book I pick up, I just can’t escape them.

The Novel Bookworm is starting
I’m a little hesitant to get into this series because of potential unsavory romantic content (anyone here who’s read it and knows for sure?) but I would nonetheless like to pick up another Victorian his-fic romance mystery and so am taking the plunge.

Kathryn Turley *is actually curious now XD*

The Novel Bookworm Well, his pregnant wife was (brutally, gruesomely, and descriptively) murdered. He then sought out the murder and (brutally, gruesomely, and descriptively) murdered the murderer. He then went on an opium addiction binge.

I don’t know how to describe it other than to say that all of it just felt like too much. None of it added to the story.
