I enjoy these stories, but someone really needs to edit them. Random thoughts or words will pop up out of nowhere. Most recent example is when Mae Dottie are talking about the latest murder. They are talking about something, then out of nowhere Mae asks “Money? What money?” I’m asking that myself nothing was said about money. A phrase in a sentence will be repeated in that same sentence.

This is a 10 book set. The books were either published out of order or the author forgot certain details mentioned in previous books. She also needs an editor because Mae blurts out a random question. Then she talks about about holding her dog, but at the same time her arms are flailing & she puts them in her pockets. What happened to her dog?

I’m enjoying these stories for the most part. I don’t know if the author just needs a better editor or needs a researcher. She referred to people who have filed a lawsuit against the main character as defendants when they are the plaintiffs & the one being sued is the defendant. There have been other examples, but I can’t remember the rest.
I also wish this collection wasn’t counted as just 1 book by Goodreads.
